USING WUTHERING BUILDS
Terms of Service
The terms for accounts, deckbuilding, sharing, and use of this unofficial fan site.
Last updated:
1. About these terms
These Terms of Service govern use of Wuthering Builds, an independently operated New Zealand fan website for the physical Wuthering Waves card game. "We" means the Wuthering Builds site operator. Contact us at [email protected].
By creating an account, including through an enabled sign-in provider, you agree to these terms. Do not create an account if you do not agree. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled; it is not a waiver of your privacy rights.
The current service is free and in beta. We do not charge for existing use without your separate agreement to any future paid service.
2. Accounts and eligibility
Use an email address or sign-in account you control, choose a suitable public username, and keep your credentials secure. Do not impersonate others, share access to an administrator account, or access someone else's account without permission. Tell us promptly about suspected unauthorised access.
You must be legally able to agree to these terms. If you are below the age of legal capacity, a parent or guardian must agree to and supervise your use where permitted by law. Follow applicable age and account rules for Google or any other sign-in provider you use.
3. Your content and deck visibility
You retain any rights you have in original deck descriptions or other content you submit. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, reproduce, and display that content only to operate the site, provide the features you use, and moderate the service, including through our service providers.
That licence respects your visibility setting. Publishing a deck makes it available for viewing, copying into the builder, and exporting through the site's features. A private deck is accessible to you and site administrators, who may view or moderate it. A deck code does not override online access restrictions.
The licence ends when the content is deleted, except for reasonably retained backups or records as described in the Privacy Policy. Deletion cannot recall content already exported or independently copied by others. Do not submit content you lack permission to share or another person's private information. Nothing here grants rights to game artwork owned by someone else.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use the site for unlawful material, harassment, hate, threats, spam, scams, impersonation, or infringement of intellectual-property or privacy rights. Do not upload malicious code, bypass access controls or copy limits, probe other users' private data, evade moderation, or overload the service.
Use the tools for their intended deckbuilding and community purposes. Report suspected security issues privately to our contact address without accessing or publishing other people's information.
5. Game content and accuracy
Wuthering Builds is unofficial and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Kuro Games, UCP, or other game rights holders. Game names, trademarks, card artwork, and other third-party materials belong to their respective owners. Their inclusion does not transfer rights to you or to us.
Translations, card records, deck checks, tags, and statistics may be incomplete or incorrect. Verify important rules with the publisher or event organiser. A Tournament tag does not itself establish publisher endorsement or guarantee tournament legality, results, or competitive performance.
Rights holders can contact [email protected] with the relevant URLs, an explanation of their concern, and contact details. We will review requests and may remove or restrict material while investigating.
6. Moderation and access restrictions
Administrators may edit tags, moderate or remove decks, or restrict accounts where reasonably necessary to address a breach of these terms, a security risk, unlawful content, a rights complaint, or disruption to the service. Tournament tags are controlled by administrators.
Where reasonably practicable, we will explain an action and give an opportunity to respond; urgent protective action may happen first. You can request a review at [email protected]. These powers do not remove obligations we have under applicable law.
7. Availability, exports, and responsibility
We aim to keep the site useful, but a free beta may change, be interrupted, or contain errors. We do not promise uninterrupted access, permanent availability, or that the site is suitable for every purpose. Keep your own exports of important decks. We will give reasonable notice of planned material changes or closure where practicable.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or losses caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any obligation, remedy, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Applicable statutory rights take priority over these terms.
8. Closing your account and third-party services
You can stop using the site at any time, delete individual decks through the site, and request account closure by emailing [email protected]. We may verify your identity before closing an account. Retention and deletion are explained in the Privacy Policy.
Google and other sign-in providers, external communities, hosting platforms, and linked sites have their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control those services. The use of a third-party service does not remove responsibilities we have under applicable law.
9. Changes, law, and disputes
We may update these terms for changes in the service, security, or law. We will update the date and give reasonable notice of material changes before they take effect where practicable or required. Changes do not retrospectively remove accrued rights; we will obtain new agreement where required.
New Zealand law governs these terms, subject to any mandatory protections in your location. Nothing limits a right to use a regulator, court, tribunal, or other remedy available under applicable law. Please contact [email protected] first so we can try to resolve a concern. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue where lawful.
